18th Annual Walk for Life is hosted by the Corona Life Services, everyone is welcome and participation is free. The event starts at 9:00 am (check in starting at 8:00 am). Please join Corona Life Services at our annual Walk for Life! This is a family friendly event promoting the value of life in our community. The walk itself is free but fundraising is encouraged. “Run with ACOP”

Corona PD “Run with ACOP” (Anti-Childhood Obesity Program) ▬ The mission of the “Run with ACOP” initiative is to raise child obesity awareness and to promote a healthy lifestyle among the youth of the community while also building strong community partnerships. On a monthly basis, the Corona Police Department will host a “Run with ACOP” event where participants will receive credit for each mile they log while at the event. As participants reach designated milestones, they will receive a color coded wristband as well as an honorary police rank in recognition of their accomplishments. Only the miles accumulated at “Run with ACOP” events count towards “Run with ACOP” milestones; however, these miles may be used towards the runner’s 100 Mile Club® progress when approved by their school. Corona Symphony Orchestra “Circle City Suite”

The Corona Symphony Orchestra will present the debut of the “Circle City Suite.” The Corona Symphony Orchestra has commissioned Dr. Glenn Pickett to compose a 5 movement suite that musically highlights the rich history of Corona. Each movement represents a chapter in Corona’s history. There will be a projected illustrations and narration as the suite is being played. Heroes vs Villains 5K & Flag Gauntlet

Help “Heroes 4 Victims” to prevent abuse, assault and child trafficking in Southern California by sponsoring, volunteering, or participating at the 3rd Annual “Heroes vs. Villains 5K & Flag Gauntlet,” a sunset run/walk this October 29, 2016. The 5K will take place at Panther Stadium, Corona High School, 1150 W. 10th St, Corona, CA 92882. It will include a Halloween Carnival and Expo! Red Ribbon Family Fun Festival

They will be visiting our town and staying here in Norco from October 6th -8th.  They would like to invite everyone to please join them to honor and remember their fallen comrades for a Memorial Service at the George Ingalls Veteran’s Memorial Plaza.

The City of Norco will recreate that very first pioneering moment, and hold an exhibition game at CRC on Friday, October 21, 2016 and then host a 2-day tournament on October 22-23, 2016 at Riley Gymnasium, located at 3900 Acacia, Norco, CA. This will allow the western Riverside region to share in the history of wheelchair basketball and allow those with disabilities to compete in a nationally recognized sport.
